It Takes Guts to Fight Obesity

Did you know that $400 billion in government funding is distributed every year? The 2010 Census will determine how much of that money is allocated to Baldwin Park. All data is confidential, so it’s easy, safe and important to stand up and be counted.

If you are more intrsted there will be a meeting on Wednesday, January 27 at the Esther Snyder Community Center from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.

At this workshop, participants will be given an overview of the actual Census Form in order to be prepared to assist residents in filling out their form.

There have also been several requests for information about jobs working for the U.S. Census Bureau. Recruitment is still ongoing and residents of Baldwin Park are encouraged to apply. Job testing information and details are available at www.2010censusjobs.gov or by calling (866) 861-2010. Many of the job testing dates are scheduled during the first two weeks of February, so encourage Baldwin Park residents to call and schedule an appointment for their test.
