Friendship Fruit Dip

8 oz. low fat vanilla yogurt

2 Tbs. 100% orange juice

1 Tbs. brown sugar

2 medium red apples, cored & sliced

1 medium red pear, cored & sliced

8 large starwberries

Directions

In a small bowl, combine yogurt, orange juice, lime juice, and brown sugar; mix well

Serve dip in a bowl on a large plate and surround with fruit.

Sweetheart Apple Cupcakes

1 granny smith apple

2 strawberries, sliced

4 tbsp low-fat strawberry cream cheese

Directions

Cut apple into half (cut width-wise so that the apple half has wither the stem or the bottom of the core)

Cut out seeds.

Place each apple half in a cupcake wrapper.

Wipe the cut side of the apple with a napkin to soak up any extra liquid.

Spread cream cheese evenly over the cut side of the apple.

Place apple half cut side into the cupacake wrapper.

Decorate with strawberry slices.

1 apple makes 2 servings

Great Grape Smoothies

1 cup seedless red grapes

1/2 cup unsweetened frozen strawberries

1/2 cupe orange slices

1/2 cup banana

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender.

Blend until mixture is smooth.

Pour into cups and enjoy!

Makes 2- 8oz. servings

*For thicker consistency, freeze washed grapes before blending.*

Sweetheart Sandwiches

2 pieces of whole grain bread

1 Tbs. reduced fat peanut butter

1/2 banana, thinly sliced

1/3 apple, cored and thinly sliced

Directions

Thinly spread peanut butter on bread.

Layer banana and apple slices evenly on bread.

Cover with second slice pf bread.

Use heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut out perfect heart sanwiches.

Arrange and serve!

so, the sweetheart sandwiches was a success! My friends and loved ones loved it and made it for breakfast the next day! =D HA My hearts looked ugly though because the heart cookie cutter was expensive so, I had to carve it on my own.. ;] & I was lucky if they even realized it was a heart!
