Martha Stewart Tweets About Food, Inc. Posted by Gina Telaroli on March 27, 2009 at 3:20 pm

Sometimes your life comes together in ways you wouldn’t except - or suddenly something you never thought about suddenly becomes relevant. Like today, my good pal and blogger Dana wrote a post about Twitter - with a great deal of the post focusing on the Twitter feed of Martha Stewart.

So after reading her piece I of course head on over to Martha Stewart’s Twitter feed and what do I find? A series of Tweets about Participant’s awesome new film Food, Inc. Check out what Martha has to say about the film below (i think it is meant to be one long statement, but I’ve separated her tweets):

i arranged a screening of a new film,Food Inc.last night.my entire food dept came. the main message? buy organic, only organic
the film, which is very very good , will be in theatres in early june. see it please, listen to it, act on it
see the film then tell me organic is too expensive for you and your family. it is so upsetting that good food is hard to find
the film is very graphic in its depiction of feed lots, factory farms, slaughterhouses, and health problems related to bad food
producer director is robert kenner, contributors include michael pollan and eric schlosser- they “lift the veil on the u.s. food industry
Awesome Martha (or ghostwriter Martha?)! This makes me even more excited for the film.
Speaking of which, why not takepart with the social action campaign for the film today!
