Swimming!!!!!

It is hard for teens to get in exercise, especially when we are stressed out about AP testing or testing in general. But summer is almost here and it is a perfect opportunity to get some physical activity in. I recommend swimming. It is a great way to get in exercise and work out all the muscles in your body. That is why they have water aerobics you know, because you work out better in the water. Its easy to go swimming, even if you don't have a pool. Community centers usually have pools and it… Continue

Exercising in South LA

Do you think that its safe to exercise in South LA? I think that its not for many reasons such as that there is a lot of holes in floors, cements, little bit of parks around many neighborhoods of LA and the ones that are here they are closed up with gates, its not safe because there is mostly gangs and not enough police around this areas to enforce the laws, and if you want to exercise you have to be famaliar of the place that you will be doing it in and have to know the people… Continue

Exercising In South Los Angeles...

I think it is safe to exercise in South Los Angeles, however it depends when, where, and who is around. For starters you should exercise during the day when the sun is out and in a place you are familiar With and where there are people around. Also, exercising wouldn't be such a bore when you are working out with your friends. If I was the President I would definetley support the whole idea of getting out and exercising…

The benefits of eating CARROTS

A single carrot will supply all your vitamin A needs for the whole day. It’s also a great food to nibble, being a much healthier pastime than grazing on potato chips.

Research has also shown that this vegetable has a protective effect against ultraviolet light ( in other words they will help you look younger, longer).

Healthy Recipe!!

My favorite recipe is super simple! Get a pound of ground beef (or more, depending on how many people you want to feed) and a sweet onion, green and red bell peppers (yellow or orange also work! or do all 4!) and a clove or two of garlic. chop all veggies in a food processor until VERY fine. then mix in by hand with the hamburger meat and make into patties! serve on whole wheat buns and add desired condiments!! Great healthy meal that tastes even better!!
