Tips for Eating At a Restaurant



Most restaurant portions are way larger than the average serving of food at home. Ask for half portions, share an entrée with a friend, or take half of your dish home.

I need advice!! I am getting too busy to be healthy!

Although I work all day on a project which helps to promote healthy eating and physical activity, it’s really hard to find time in the day to actually do it! When I get home, I have some delicious cooked food waiting for me. Even though it always tastes great, I know it is not always the best for me. its hard b/c thy dont ween thmselves off the "addictive" foods. most ppl diet alone and feel out of place w/ frnds and/or family. its always best 2 tak it slow and diet w/ othrs if u need and/or want any encouragement. dont feel left out

Mcdonalds 4 year old burger...

okay, I just finished watching a video. It's called mcdonalds 4 year old cheeseburger. This video grossed me out so much that I don't think that i will EVERRRRR be able to eat another cheeseburger again...



the video is about this lady that has been saving a mcdonalds cheeseburger and fries for FOUR years!! and it still looks edible. When we watch things like this it makes us wonder why america is the most obese country.

Give us more restaurants with healthier food!!!





Did you know that the highest percentage of restaurants that are fast-foods are in South Los Angeles? Before blaming anyone for not eating healthy, maybe more resturants that are NOT unhealthy fast-foods should be opended. Less fast foods and more exercise can lead to less obesity (1). It's time for companies to start doing their part as well.
