Hey guys! Sorry about not getting to this earlier. I had problems getting the internet working. I did want to get the address to you all first for today's dinner with HBO.

Second I wanted to mention that HBO is mainly interested tonight on the We're Fed UP website and what it was like to create this website. So, there are students like Darrell and another student that already graduated named Brittanie that will be mainly speaking. But there are students like Caro, Luis, and Yiska that have been with the youth group for a while now that may be able to talk about what it was like to start this website. HBO was interested in knowing why students use We're Fed Up and if you all think it's a useful tool. Some of the newer students may jump in when there are questions that you all could speak on. I just don't want you all to feel nervous. The dinner tonight is really about having a relaxed conversation about your experience with We're Fed Up.

For tomorrow Wednesday.
Tomorrow we will be giving HBO a tour of our school and we will visit some of the corner stores that the youth have worked with. We will also visit the wonderful garden you all have here. For this conversation HBO wants to know about some of our goals.

For example, doing the water taste tests is a tool we've used to spread education about water and plastic to other students at The Accelerated Schools. And our goal is to get a filtered cold water system in the near future. Before june.

Another project we're doing is the Photo Voice project to show our individual view on some of the things we want to fix in our neighborhoods. And our goal is to have an exhibit of the pictures and have our city council representative, Jan Perry, attend so that we can begin to talk about how these changes we want can be possible.

We're also going through media literacy trainings that will give us the skills to be able to read the media better. And our goal is to share what we learned with other students at our school. We want to have a meeting with other interested students and do a creative presentation to spread the knowledge!

Alright, i know it's a lot and i know you have questions. I will be available to talk in my offiice all day today until 3:15. I'll be at the garden from 3:30 - 4:45p.m today.
And tomorrow i'll be there all day. Come visit me!
